Hi , now that the listing has finished and wont affect anything is the stopper the wrong one on this ebay item 2708 2846 2292 ? Regards Roger.

It looks to me as good as match as you might expect. I see nothing particularly unusual with it. But I leave it to more knowlegeable people to comment on whether it might be by Salvador, though...

The stopper could well be right for the bottle, especially as the canes in each part have at least one match. I have a similar bottle, also with a clear neck and well section, which also has a "moveable" stopper. In my example, none of the canes in the stopper have an identical match to those in bottle part - but there is a broad likeness in terms of colour.
I do not know who made these bottles but they do have a typical patterning in the stopper which lines up with some pre-war Monart scent bottles and also the more widely known Ysart Brothers (Vasart) inkwells. And the canes are all of a type often called "Salvador" canes.
I did not contact the seller about a point of detail in the listing title and description (I was going to but forgot to do it), but it cannot be "Monart ... Salvador ... 1940s". If it is 1940s it is Ysart Brothers (Vasart) - assuming Paul Ysart did not make it (which I do not think was the case).
