Title: Green uranium trinket set with diamond-shaped pots & ringholder - ID, please?
Post by: agincourt17 on December 14, 2015, 08:55:53 PM
A diamond-shaped ringholder with 3 matching diamond-shaped lidded trinket pots (2 large + 1 small), plus a (presumed matching) rectangular tray, all pieces in green uranium glass.

(Permission for the re-use of these images on the GMB granted by bengeworth-crew).

The sides of the ringholder and trinket pot bodies have gentle vertical scallops on one pair of opposite sides,  and really pronounced vertical triangular ridges on the other pair of opposite sides.

I can’t recall seeing a set in this pattern before (though I will show a matching lidded pot in blue glass in the next post).

It looks quite ‘Czech’ to me, but I can’t see any matches in Marcus Newhall’s Sklo Union CD-ROM catalogues. Any ideas as to manufacturer, please?

Does anyone have photos of a similar set/sets to show in other colours, please? - especially if they have matching candlesticks?

Fred

A lidded pot in blue glass for comparison.
