Title: Trademark Question

Hi, I have just purchased from a charity shop six glasses to paint on when I noticed a trademark impressed at the bottom of the stem...any ideas how I find out what it means please? The letters are an entwined JP with a large C surrounding them...

Can uou post a a picture, scan or sketch of the mark please, and one of the glass too.
