Hello all,
lovely piece this I think but I really want to tie it down to a maker, it's not signed but is fairly distinclive so hopefully someone [aa] will recognise the style....
16cm (6 1/4in) high swagged yellow and red trailling over a mottled sky blue, on a solid clear foot, matt acid treated exterior and rough ground pontil scar/foot.
Purchased in London and possibly up for sale in the next few months if I can get an ID...
Many thanks,
M.

When you first posted this I wondered whether it could be Will Shakspeare but I'm still not certain. There are similarities but also differences. I think you should email him. I do know he did some stuff for Liberty some time ago and it could be one of those.

Thanks again Adam,
I've had a few of Will's pieces before, including the bowl below that certainly has some similarities...I'll drop him a line as you suggest and see what he thinks.

Very kindly got a positve ID from Will....it's from the 'Syrian' range.
