Hi

The pictures of the sword are now available after a technical hitch at
http://www.thru-the-lookinglass.co.uk

There is a link to the sword on my homepage you will see the link on the right highlighted in red.

Ray made a total of 14 swords at whitefriars

Sadly Dad and I do not have one of the swords which is a great shame, so we are very grateful to Alan Brown who worked at the factory for allowing us to take these photo's

I have added some new pictures of a sword made by ray, this sword is in the colour aqua

WOW

I have been collecting Whitefriars for a number of years and love the sword. A wonderful piece of craftmanship.

How long did it take Ray to make the sword.

Hi Paul. I mentioned your posting to Eddie King, our production manager, who was at Whitefriars, and he says he remembers your father and sends his regards. He wonders whether your father remembers him and his brother John, who was also at Whitefriars?

aa,

Would this be the same Eddie King who made the Whitefriars Sun Spots at the factory??????

Mike Cripps remembers him making them if his memory serves him correctly!

Eddie remembers Mike Cripps and says hello. Eddie's father, also Eddie King, was the Mixer at Whitefriars, and his brother John was a Servitor with Ray Annenberg. Eddie started aged 15 at Whitefirars and was there from 1965-1970, before moving to Kings Lynn. He can remember the Sun Spots but he can't remember working on them!
