Title: Bjorn Ronnqvist - Egg

Hi, I've got a big clear glass egg, 9 or 10 inches long, with a bright yellow stripe of yolk and I have seen a couple of others, still with their labels, attributed to Bjorn Ronnqvist and pretty sure mine is the same. 

Could anyone tell me anything about this person, which country he works in and, if possible, when these eggs were made?  I do not think they are old - last 20 years maybe, but any further information on the eggs or the maker would be great!  Thanks

Made for Ikea - discontinued about 5 years ago.

Thank you Pinkspoons.  Ikea surprises me as it is very well made but many thanks for the response!  Do you know anything else about the maker?

Ikea outsource production to all around the world... Poland, China, India... so it's  near-impossible to pin down an actual manufacturer.

His name is spelt Ronnquist not with a v but a u I think?
