First off, welcome to the community.   :) :) :)

You have a Whitefriars paperweight.  If you look in the ring with the white canes and blue background you will see one that is different.  It is a signature cane.  The centre is a stylised friar and the outer parts are a date - too blurred to read off your photo.  There will be others who are much more conversant with Whitefriars who will no doubt be able to tell you more.

Thanks for the reply much appreciated .

I just noticed there is one blue which is different one 6 written in the middle 1970 around it .

So i can say its dated 1970 , is that right .

And if i  sell it can you please tell  how much i can expect .

Best regards

You will find that members do not attempt valuations.  If you are intending to put it on Ebay, for example, it is a relatively simple matter to search out all existing Whitefriars pwts and get a line on what is reasonable.  If on the other hand your pwt is a rare one you would want to ask more.  You can also have a look at the Whitefriars website where collectors of Whitefriars may be able to help you with more information as well.

I would advise you to be patient - you are likely to get lots more from other members here.

The "6 written in the middle" is actually a stylised image of a monk and was a Whitefriars signature mark which also appeared on labels etc.

It will do somewhere around £70 on ebay, assuming it is perfect with no chips etc.
