Dear all,
I picked up this paperweight the other day. It is a pretty miniature weight (2"x1.5") with smooth and clean canes articulately put together. It has a tiny red heart cane in the centre and a white 'heart' cane to the base set into I believe an aventurine compound. I thought this would be easily identifiable, but after hours goo-ger-ling I am none the wiser and stumped! So it's over to you experts please to help identify the maker and origins. No doubt the mystery will be solved in a few hours!
Many thanks guys,
Monty

Hi having issues posting pics - hopefully they are appearing now

Looks like a James Hart weight. Those look like his rose canes and there is a 'heart' signature cane in the base.

Thanks Mark - Wow not even ten minutes!!!
It seems obvious now but funnily enough searching for a heart cane paperweight doesn't bring up much! I'm even sure I stumbled across James (Jim) Hart but none had the heart cane or white cane in the examples - so I guess was led onto a wild goose chase for nothing! :-X
Good stuff, Thanks again!

I believe Hart is now using an 'H' cane.
