Title: Holmegaard Candle stick holder
Post by: Madbrit on October 07, 2007, 06:16:36 PM
I found this today at a fleamarket market, or rather it found me, it was hidden by a huge Scheurich vase, i have been to Nic Pinkspoons brilliant Holmegaard rescource site and it tells me it is circa 1950s-1965. But due to the dealers foil label on the bases i cant see if it is signed.
Does anyone know who designed this piece?  I love the colour, and it only cost 1 euro, which pleased me a lot..... 8)

Designed by Per Lütken as part of the 'Lagune' range in 1962, and in production until 1970 - but the label indicates that it's from the earlier period of production. The colour is called 'Isblå' (Ice Blue).

Excellent buy for 1€!

I found the catalogue number for the shape - 18352. This is probably what will be signed under the foil label.
