Title: Archimede Seguso Opalina a Coste Large Purple Cornucopia
Post by: ardy on October 26, 2010, 06:33:14 AM
Hi All

Went to Tasmania for a 4 day break and stumbled on this at a very reasonable price so I grabbed it. No chips or problems apart from a tiny stress mark from pulling down legs.

Complete with label and a thing that is hard to find these days as I don't see as many of the Opalina ones.

11" - 28cm long and weighs 3lb 15oz - 2kg

regards

Thanks Tammie I didn't think about it too much. I just checked it was in good condition and bought it. It was only when I got it in the light I realised how nice the colour is.

Actually prefer it to my white and gold set.

OOOOOHHHHH!  I really like the white and gold.  Of course, I have always been fond of those two colors together.

Hi Andy,
The Pink piece does seem to be Opalino.
Looks like a straight forward Sommerso Pink.
The Opalino pieces have a Milky look to them which can be all over or fade over another color.
