This small green vase is c. 12cms tall. Has good weight. I suspected Caithness but can't find a match. :spls: Help. ;D

Riihimäen Lasi

I don't think you'd find a base like that on Caithness. Caithness is usually ground flat on the base. I'm not sure but your piece looks machine made so I suspect it is later Riihimäen.

Caithness is not usually ground flat. It's flattened on the marver.

Thanks for the correction Christine. Had to go and look up what a marver is ... now I know. As I have said many times, my knowledge of glass production is limited here - but what I learn here impresses my mates who don't visit these boards!

Thanks Ivo. Any idea of the designer? Can't seem to find a matching photo anywhere, and that flared rim worries me, where does your certainty come from?

From a stickered copy in my collection. And to the best of my knowledge the is no specific desjgner for these - it' s a team effort, aka factory design.

Thanks once more, Ivo. That makes it certain, certain!
