Title: New Aquisition For Identification.
Post by: Hourglass on April 20, 2012, 01:33:54 PM
This weight is my most recent aquisition that came through the post today. I have my own idea of its origin but would like the experts to offer their opinion as to its identity. Measuring 3" in diameter by 2"3/4 high it has a flat polished base with age wear and the weight itself has some minute surface age imperfections, The pictures should I think speak for themselves. Looking through the weight with a good eyeglass you can see the 'swirls' from when the glass was molten and been 'rolled' by the hand that made it, heavy for it's size.
