A bit more info would be useful please. :) Sizes? Is it a plate shown sideways, is it a solifleur vase, or what? It's quite hard to make out if you're not familiar with the item.

So a solifleur then.... what size is it please?
-
Walther made items (solifleurs and ashtrays) with regularly spaced bumps .... not very scientific I know but I'd tend towards Walther.

hello!
i see from your picture that this vase is kind of glued
together from two halfs. funny thing is - i saw exactly
the same vase on a flea market around here two weeks
ago. walther is approx. 20 km from here...
as Pip already mentioned they made lots of bubble
designs: dishes, plates, vases.
what left me a bit puzzled about your piece is the
fact that it looks like it´s been glued together. the
´usual´walther solifleurs i´ve come across so far
are massive with only a small pocket-like hole.
-
yeah it does seem, to look that way, it has a diameter of 6"
-
just had a look at those Walther vases but this piece is hollow whereas the others I have looked at are solid
-
i´ve seen lots of these on flea markets in the meantime - without label.
but finally an answer - seems they´ve been made by Beyer&Co. in
Neustadt / Bavaria.
vase (http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280335816487&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.de%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp2773.m37.l1313%26satitle%3D280335816487%2509%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1)
i´ve contacted the seller and asked for pictures of the vase and the label
(and permission to use them of course).
(hopefully i´m recalling the right thread to post this answer) ::)
