Flat base and frosted!!
S and Y canes
Is this  Salvador Ysart or Strathearn or ???

Hi Jean

To my not very experienced eye but just from the design and the canes it does look as though it might be Strathearn..... not sure of the y cane though.... however what does seem totally wrong to me is the base.
I do have a Vasart weight with an identical base but if I look at it from side on the dimensions appear all wrong and mine, and very possibly this one, has been ground down at a later date.

Just when I thought I was getting a bit more clued in  :roll:
I have seen Richard's site and I have found him extremely helpful for me as  a beginner.
