Hello everybody,I`ll hope someone can help me!I have allready send the photo to hardernet.dk to ask of these vases are Danish, because
the second vase from left was standing in Miller`s book as being made by Per Lutken! But they answered that they are not, they might possibly be Swedish!Does anybody have a idea?
Thank you very much

The second (beaked) vase is by Kastrup Glas - designed 1954, produced until 1965.
Here's one in blue:

Because I'm just talking out of my hat? ::)
If I have to qualify my statements, here's one with a Kastrup factory label and catalogue details to back it up: http://www.glashistoriskselskab.dk/index.php/Glashistorisk-Museum/Vaser/Mundblaeste-vaser/Orchidevase-1954-2974

I always trust what comes out of your hat, Nic. :anb:

Except when it leaves little brown pellets. ;D

I'm not aware of the larger vase being part of Kastrup's production line-up.

When I go to the link I see on the right site of the green vaas a orange and a amber vaas that look a lot like the big green vaas!

::) good idea, let's just ignore everything Nic says because quite frankly who on earth does he think he is? (Answer: Holmegaard and Danish glass specialist/expert, professional seller and Danish glass contributor/consultant on antique guide books)

Aw. Cheers Pip.
That's not to say that Peter is a Danish glass dunce either - he has handled far more Holmegaard glass than probably I ever will. I don't know the context of his reply to the original query, but we're all just human.

Oops, so there is! Kind of proves what I was saying above about just being human! :D

Actually, looking again at the vases on the Glashistorisk Museum site, I'm unsure if your first big vase is the same - I think the two illustrated on the Glashistorisk Museum website are both beaked vases that just have poorly-defined rims. Yours seems purposefully sloped.
Kastrup did, though, make vases with these sloped rims, but I've only ever seen them in the Blue/Opal series: http://www.glashistoriskselskab.dk/index.php/Glashistorisk-Museum/Vaser/Mundblaeste-vaser/Vase-1960-3602#joomimg
Also, the lightness of the green is putting me off a little.

OK thank you again,Lisa!

Think this thread needs my original responce to the items in question:
"My first impression is that the four items is from a glasswork in Sweden instead.
The orchid vase to the left, have air bubbles in a way that it is not from a Danish Glasswork
The orchid vase second from left, could well be from Kastrup Glasswork probably around 1954, BUT have never seen this type in this green colour.
The third from left side, shape have been made by Holmegaard Glasswork as well Kastrup Glasswork, BUT again never seen it in that colour, only clear glass and ice blue glass
The little bowl I have never seen in connection with Danish glassworks."
-
See - now that makes more sense. :)

Thank you again,Lisa!
