Hi, does anyone know where this was made ? It is domed with a highly polished base. 6.6cm in height. I am having trouble loading pictures ??? Says file is too large. It is 91 kb ??? will try without first pics or links to follow.

Lustrousstone is correct - it is Czechoslovakian. Mine has a label and reads......'JAFFE ROSE - Hand Made in Czechoslovakia'. It's possible we have an example of this label on the Board's marks and labels section - but I'm not certain. :)

Thanks all. again. I dont usually go for paperweights as it is an absolute minefield. This caught my eye though and came at a cheap price. Really well finished compared to most I see and far far too much chinese glass about. Bit unfair to say that as some chinese glass I have seen is quite nice and some has a real quality about it. Pete

wasnt jaffe rose just an import company think i have seen jaffe rose made in italy

Yes it was, but the controlled bubble stuff seems to be Czech
