This is a heavy square vase (or is it a votive?) 7,5 x 7,5 cm (3"), height 8 cm with a design of prisms and diamonds. The bottom is ground and polished. There is a circular indent diam 4cm in the bottom so maybe this is an upside down candle stick for large candles?
It looks like Ruda or Hellsten or Aladin. Does anyone recognise it?

I would not exclude Germany (Walther Glas for instance); but cannot give another reason than seeing similar pieces regularly on German ebay.

Just found this one on German ebay >> Link (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Pressglasvase-1960er-Jahre-/310372228716?pt=Glas_Kristall&hash=item4843a05e6c)
So glaskilian don't seem to know either who made it, but that painted-on yellow does look very much like Walther Glas...

Good find! I had already given up on that one - thank you!

Wildunger Kristall - sorry, no exact idea of the time frame. :D

Wow new one - never knew there was glass in Bad Wildungen!
There is no information on this maker but it seems possible they are Josef Müllenhoff KG and are now doing metal doorhandles and stuff only.
Thank you for the ref!

I´ve not been able to find anything about them either. Hard to tell wether they really
produced glass themselves or not. Maybe they bought blanks (shapes possibly made exclusively
for them) and refined them - flashing, cutting etc... ???
