Title: engraved butterfly girl vase
Post by: RAY on September 25, 2011, 01:09:26 PM
picked up a few nice pieces of glass yesterday, but the sig on this one has me stumped , its signed F.B. 1651 OR 1051 .160,  it's been copper wheeled engraved and not sand blasted,..... any ideas on the maker/engraver?

I've no idea I'm afraid, but my immediate instinct on looking at it was that it could be Wendy from Peter Pan and the butterfly could be tinkerbell.
I'm probably wrong, but it's funny how things just strike you.
