Thanks Christine. I had him re the bard. Thanks for link, can't see anything like this so maybe it's an earlier range. In fact looking at the mark its SHAK 3 which I presume means 2003?

I believe it is shaks not shak 3 .

agree Shaks
What size is it please Adam?

Approx 3.5" high - agreed now it is Shaks, still looking for a date - will keep on searching on net (virtually nothing on eBay for eg.) or maybe email Will himself.

Will is terribly helpful if you email him - lovely man :)

I got an email reply from Kate Shakspeare - the bowl is a one of piece not from any range and date wise its about ten years old.

They really are nice people .

Just back from a family holiday in Arran (Scotland) - bought this 'Carnival Crunch' vase by Will Shakspeare - lovely and reasonably priced, in fact same price as buying directly from his site.
Thanks Adam
-
Very nice indeed! :)

Thanks Sue - I hope to buy more of Will's glass in future. I think it's reasonable for art/studio glass. I mean I love contemporary Peter Layton - but hey, look at the prices. Mind you its quality stuff and its been proved that its the great designers that end up sought after in future decades, so maybe I'll save my pennies up.
I was down in London recently and in Campden Passage. A dealer there had beautiful glass including a hoard of Layton glass - I baulked at the £250, £300 price tags, but now wish I could go back down and buy at least one, just to have it - I like to have at least one piece of glass from the different great designers/makers.
Like wise, I aim to get a really great piece of Shakspeare glass, maybe even a bit of fantastic Sam Herman.

You could commission a piece from Will.
That way you'd have a really great piece and a unique one.

Hi Adam, bought what I thought was a nice piece? listed it for sale week absolutely no interest in it at all ended up selling for 1 bid £9.99 not sure if that was a true reflection of prices or I was just unlucky either way I lost money and shall not be buying any more ;)

I have one in the same pattern and pink - taller and not signed but ID on this board as Shakspeare, Can't seem to find where I put it or I'd post a picture.
Shame about the sale, I would say these were great value at £9.99.
