Title: Baccarat?
Post by: Sach on October 08, 2012, 11:49:14 AM

Somehow this weight (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Baccarat-French-Art-Glass-Concentric-Millefiori-Cane-Studio-Paperweight-A-/390477524198?_trksid=p4340.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555001%26algo%3DPW.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D7%26meid%3D2594873157268637431%26pid%3D100010%26prg%3D1004%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D261109813946%26) does not look at all like Baccarat to me.

Hi Sach,

I would guess modern Baccarat (mid-1960), myself. The early weights did not even have an etched mark.
But I could be wrong.

Hi Sach

I agree with SophieB - it looks like one of the low end modern Baccarat concentrics sold in the 1960s.

It is signed.  You can clearly see the Baccarat etched logo in two of the pictures.
