Title: Victorian Glass Vase w/Enamelled Decor - European or American? "4" on Base
Post by: Patti3435 on January 08, 2013, 03:10:57 PM
Hi. Not sure what the origins of this vase are - European Bristol Glass? American Webb or Pairpoint? Any help or opinion is appreciated.  Stands approx 9.5" tall. Thank you!

Not Webb (which is English and not American), definitely not Bristol (that's a total misnomer applied to enamelled glass) but perhaps Bohemian. That ribbed base is unusual though

Thank you Lustrousstone. I will check and see if I can find anything similare in Bohemian glass. What about Mt. Washington / Pairpoint Glass. Do you think that could be a possibility? Thanks again for your help.

I would expect better quality from the pix of pieces I've seen
