The taller one looks to be a 'Teardrop' decanter, designed by Per Lütken in 1960, missing its stopper.

I don't recognise the other decanter, and I've not found mention of it in the usual places. Sorry.

Edit: Ignore the last comment - just spotted a decanter very much along these lines, designed 1948 by Lütken. Production number 12841.

Hi Nic, shows what I know, pretty sure the decanter was right? thought the taller one was a carafe due to the finish inside the neck, what would the stopper style be?
thanks Chris

I agree they look Holmegaard-like.  2 excellent sites you might like to examine are

http://www.HarderNet.dk      AND
http://www.glashistoriskselskab.dk/

and perhaps  http://www.holmegaardresource.com/ may have something the others do not.

You can ask Peter Harder directly and he is very good at responding to requests
