I have just picked up a copy of 'The Stourbridge Glass Industry in the 19th century' a 1971 edition by the late H J Haden,I am waiting for a reply from the publishers as to whether I can post some pictures from the booklet.It has old maps showing the location of glassworks in the area,many long since demolished,a few old pictures of glass cones and a couple of pieces of glass,I'll post when and if I get the go ahead. ;D ;D

Published by the Black Country Society, who are normally quite helpful. Occasionally there are postcards of the area that are offered on eBay, but the price for them can go very high.

I contacted Mike Pearson,editor of the BCS,who is on holiday at the moment but still answered,he said he'll get back to me asap. I did 'speak' to him before about 'Artists in Cameo Glass' it seems the copyright for photographs in that booklet are shared between family members,Broadfield House,Dudley Council and the Corning Museum ;D

Mick/Mike is always very helpful, so given that it's 40 years since printing, I'm hoping it will be permitted. Copyright is always a thorny issue, though - depends where the Society got them from and under what conditions.
