Here is one that I think is very nice.

As you can see the top part is a lovely shade of pink, while the underside has a lovely swirl pattern. Its very heavy but certainly also looks very feminine. Any ideas on maker and time would be appreciated. Thanks Terry

Hi Terry
Is the underside opalescent, it looks from the picture as if it may be?

Hi Chuggy, you know I do believe it is opalescent. Terry

In that case could well be Archimede Seguso, the pink looks right and I've had them with a Seguso label with the opalescent lower area.

For what it's worth, Seguso is not the only Italian company that did opalescent glass.

I beleive Fratelli Toso too but this one seems a little on the special side to me ....have you seen similar before Laura ?
.......and who else would be in the running ?
