Title: 1958 Brussels World Fair Vase...

Another one...:)...Arte Nuova Murano, Grand Prize, Genuine Venetian Glass, World Fair Brussels 1958 label...26cm high...5cm at the base...polished...vaseline???...i assume so (i don't a blacklight)...cranberry with 'flouro green'...any idea on possible maker???...

Also...are these label vases fairly common???...

Oh yes, that's uranium glass. Can identify the glow from here without a UV light. No idea about manufacturer though   :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

It certainly glows... ;D...either do i...it is another sommerso type pieces of mine that confounds me... :-[

I have seen a few of these labels lately. Not to rain on parade, but the glass that I've seen has not been very good. Because of this, I don't think there is much merit to the labels. I don't know who made the glass.

I know...these type of labels are everywhere!!!...Its bothery annoying... :sleep:
