Title: Whitefriars monk and date cane
Post by: Millefiori on November 06, 2012, 09:48:58 PM
I just bought a whitefriars paperweight with a monk cane dating 1974. There is an error and the cane is put in reverse or upside down.. Does this affect the value of the paperweight?

Hi.

I doubt it, but you might find an anorak who wants to pay more for it!

I looked for the s for "secondary" but didn't see it. It comes with a certificate and box. Not limited edition, but one of those 5 panel latticino with tiny millefiori..

You have a Whitefriars but I have an antique Baccarat with the date cane put in backwards - maybe too much wine with lunch methinks !
