A completely new one to me, printed bottom side. 6 inch diameter base

Weird and as you say, definitely not Chance! I guess either Spiegelunion or Feinstrich. Unlike anything I've seen.

Always a possibility, plus many other makers, of course. My only reason for caution is that this type of dish probably had a limited sales potential (was not popualr for Chance) and may only have been considered by a larger company, such as Spiegelunion - still trying to find more on Feinstrich.

However, I do know where to locate a lot of Spiegelunion catalogues going back over several years (it did produce a lot of diverse patterns), so will try and borrow these to scan in. Will be useful for Frank's www.Glass-Study.com
