any one any idea who made this plate it measures 10" across and a light sky blue in colour, it's the royal tour anzac 1949, the portrait in the centre of king george and liz the 1st is very detailed,

Ray,
It does look like a Bagley plate, as they were staunch Royalists, but I can't find any mention of them producing one for this commemoration - but someone with more knowledge will correct this, no doubt.

This was issued to commemorate the visit by George and wife, during which they conferred Royal status on the ANZAC regiments, in 1949. I think, if you can't id it as Bagley or another UK maker, you may need to consider a Southern Hemisphere producer.

Fortunately the answers to modern Royalty memorabilia are easy to get. You can write to Buckingham Palace and you get a nice letter back with full details to the questions you ask. I had a nice one from the lady on your plate regarding her collection of Monart at some point in the past.

By the way Pamela, the plate is ANZAC which is Australia/New Zealand not Canada...
