Hi everyone!
First time posting in this section.
I have a paperweight or sculpture that i believe is signed...
8-0 Lane
Exenäs
Sweden
C 147
If I am wrong please someone let me know :)
It is a ship that has been engraved in the glass, and the glass has been roughly chipped and cut.
I would like to know who is the maker, and what age range it might have been produced.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good morning Svazzo! I think I can help a little.
Your paperweight/sculpture comes from a glassworks that sadly no longer exists, Ekenås.
The signature is not 8-0 but a stylised J-O Lake, John-Orwar Lake, a designer hired by Ekenås during the 50's and 60's.
I can't find anything in my litterature that would date it but I'm sure someone will be able to help ;)
Nice piece by the way!

Thank you so much for that fast reply!
Just want to make sure i have the correct information for my listing :)
I havent sold anything like it before.
I collect Italian glass and this piece was in a lot of paperweights I bought.
Any idea of a value for it?

Thanks Andy!
