Laura Friedman:
Yes, they are marked "Orrefors 3973-111."  I might be a bit off on the numbers, as they are small and my eyes are bad.  Does that number give any clues?

Thanks,

Laura

Ivo:
sorry don't recognise the numbering.

Bill G:
I thought you might be interested in seeing your candlesticks on E-Bay Number 7306640034 which is
an offer under Orrefors for Tiffany & Co. 4 days left.
Please note: Tiffany & CO take products and box them as their own.

Laura Friedman:
Hi Bill,

Thanks for the link.

However, not only is the shape of the top different, but the ebay link has the newer, all capital letters ORREFORS stamp while my piece has an engraved Orrefors signature, with a number, like the Orrefors art glass I've seen. I think that my pieces are older.

Best,

Laura

Bill G:
Laura: I agree your work is older. Your glass is probably made in the early or middle 1960's. The number sequence in the book
"Swedish Glass Factories" shows the last number sequence 3817 in 1960.
Bill
