Topic: Pair of Jade Pressed Glass Vases

I bought this pair of vases recently, that I've been unable to place:

They're made in a three part mould. After reading Chris Stewart's page on Davidson Jade, I tested them with a UV light; there's no florescence. The colour is quite even. No marks or registration number that I can discern.

As ever, I'm very grateful for any help.

I believe this is Josef Inwald's work. Czech glass - the vase is known to Carnival collectors as Coronet aka Princeton. It has been seen with a Rd number in marigold Carnival, but I have only seen one example thus marked.

I have a 1928 Pottery Gazette ad for Clayton Mayers that shows this vase.

The base will be ground.

With the name, I've found a photo of the carnival versions of these now. The bases though are fire-polished rather than ground (however the whole vase seems quite fire-polished, much less crisp looking than the photo of the carnival ones on David Doty's site).

Also, these are only about 6½" tall.
