Hi
I picked this up at a boot sale as i was intrigued by it it has a ground polished pontil & is cased glass
Any ideas

Odd to have no white inner layer - so it's semi-opaque cased in clear ?
The only other glass like that I have seen (different color and shape) was Polish - I don't remember which maker possibly Tarniewiz (spelling ?).
Polish glass has been known  to have polished pontils - it would have been interesting to see a pic of that.
