Help ID of Iridescent Vase please

Any help please on the ID of this small vase, looks iridescent and a very pale green, darker green near the rim when looking inside, a rough pontil , as too age not sure but a guess nearer 1900 than 2000 but I could be wrong, tested under a UV light nothing, stands just 3.25" tall and 4" diameter

Roy — I am certain that I have seen this pattern before but so far I can't find it — it's really irritating.

Are you sure you mean iridescent and not opalescent?

Bernard I pretty sure its iridescent rather than opalescent but have to admit the more I look at the vase the more it confuses me , better take the view it could be opalescent

Bernard, obviously carnival glass is iridescent, but when it is pearly coloured, how would you differentiate between opalescent and iridescent?  I have always assumed iridescent is an external coating, and opalescent a quality of the glass, but is this right?
