Can anyone tell me where I can find out about the pressed glass production of Edinburgh Crystal?

No. Woodward carefully avoids the subject and I have no references to it anywhere. They always liked to emphasise that they catered to a luxury market but there are hints in Woodward about other processes.

I'd like to know what items were press moulded, and what sort of quantities were made that way. Time period - post WW2  (ish).

In which period they were certainly outsourcing. I have a relatively modern pressed glass clock. Maybe Nigel can add something.

I will ask someone else too.

Agree - I have a decanter date circa 1980 with double stickers - one from Edinburgh Crystal the other from Lednicke Rovne in Slovenia.

Thanks again, Frank, Ivo and aa - and yes, my understanding is indeed that they were outsourcing then. But I would like to find out if there is anything documented regarding in house (in Edinburgh) pressed glass production.
