American or British Art Glass Vase?
« on: May 21, 2007, 10:24:51 AM »
I bought this on Saturday, its the most wonderful piece of glass. The oustside looks like vaseline, a sort of greeny/yellow colour with yellow and red bits as decoration

But when the sun shines through it the glass turns a firey red/orange.

I am sure it must be a studio piece, the pontil has been snapped off and left rough, but there is no signature.

Can anyone help please

Barbara

Interesting to say the least.  I've checked though my small collection of books and haven't seen it to ID it.
