There are other users posting with Auctiva images and they are visible, URL's of the ones that work start www.auctiva... the ones that fail start img.auctiva...

I presume that Auctiva only hosts for short periods, some inquiries can take years to answer and hence we ask people to use glass gallery if possible for permanence.

I remember seeing something similar attributed to Zwiesel.
If your vase has a flat-ground base, I'd definitely be inclined to look in that direction.

Cheers,
Chris

hi again Cazza - Zwiesel are a German glass makers - if you Google them I'm sure you'll find some info.  The only Zwiesel output I'm familiar with is the stuff with the silvery random bubbles inside so can't elaborate on what Chris has said.

Yesterday I saw a couple of blue clear-cased vases at a flea market in Bern.  One of them is fairly well known, 6" or so, cup-shaped on a clear base with 3 "peaks" on the rim (sorry, can't find an appropriate photo at the mo' since I'm away from home).  The other was very similar to yours.  Both had Zwiesel labels.  From the 70s, I'm guessing.
