Topic: Bagley Jet(t)ique?

Can anyone confirm whether or not this is Bagleys Jet(t)ique (and whether there should be one or two T's)?

It has a ground out pontil mark http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10048/Black_with_white_spots_jug_pontil_mark.jpg  and no mould marks that I can see, which is why I'm querying my first ID.  (I thought Jet(t)ique was all mould blown.)

Many many moons ago I had one of these blown pieces with white enamel dots and someone kindly identified it as Bagley Jetique. I only found out much later it wasn't - it was Weisswasser glass from Germany. So the choice is between the two.

Oooh, thanks Ivo! I've never heard of Weisswasser (my meagre German tells me this is Whitewater!) so this is a revelation to me.

I've never seen anything like that from Bagley, Leni, although Angela would be able to confirm, so suspect it is Weisswasser.

Jetique (yes) can also be seen with other decoration and also multicoloured - got one here with large red dots and smaller yellow and white ones.

Not Bagley, don't know of anything blown from Bagley, except perhaps mould blown bottles. It all seems to be pressed.

Just agreeing with what others have said. The spelling is jetique - one t.
Bagley only made pressed glass. They did not have a glass blowing department, they were essentially a bottle works which set up a special department to make pressed glass and called it "The Crystal Glass Company". It is possible that in their very early days they may have made some bottles by blowing (in the 1870s or 1880s) but by the 1890s they were using machines to make bottles.
So anything that is clearly blown glass (mould blown or freehand) or which has a pontil was not made at Bagley.

I'd go with Ivo's suggestion - I've had a few pieces of Jetique in the past (little pots and vases) but they were thick and cruder looking than your jug (and pressed not blown).
