I think the signatures they show have been slightly altered but may I be wrong? If I'm right please delete this post.

Hi Martyn, I've just double checked in Mark's book (Mdina Glass & Isle of Wight Studio Glass) and Michael Harris' signature is shown several times quite clearly - the photographs don't appear to have been altered but, to be on the safe side, I'll email Mark and ask him.

Hiya,

Just for the record, Ron Wheeler and Circaglass are two different companies. Pip, I think you meant Artius Glass when you mentioned Ron.

Sorry Nigel - yes I meant Artius Glass - DOH!  I had a hard-drive failure the other day and I've been busy re-finding all my favourite glass sites so I can save them to my favourites again - I think my head is a little scrambled as a result.  Thank you for pointing it out  :)

Anne, don't forget that ebay only keeps images for 90 days max, so as these age they will become unavailable. If you have copyright permission, I would think it would be much safer in terms of long lived images,  to right click on the image, save it (or email it to a mod if need be) and then upload to the glass gallery.

Or have I misunderstood what you were describing - (not unlikely these days.....  ::))

Pip, yes please. It can be added to the labels and marks albums - there are some other sigs there as well as the more numerous labels and stamps.

Anne, do you want any signatures I come across added in there as well as my own gallery, or can I link in some way so people can find the pics in there as well? And should any Murano 101's also be in there?

Thank you very much!

Lynne

Lynne, yes you did slightly  ;D  By using the URI upload method (sounds like something that should be in the Kama Sutra!  >:D ) GG actually takes a copy of the image from eBay and adds it onto the GG server for posterity, so it's safe and sound.  8)

Well since you ask....

IGMC  >:D

My dad had a copy, and I remember sneaking into their bedroom and secretly reading it when I was about 12...

I couldn't see what all the fuss was about.....

Sorry, Lynne, I forgot to answer this bit earlier!  :-[  Yes please, if you want to add them to Labels and Marks that's fine, or if you'd rather keep them in your own album then add the album keyword  labels to the image keywords line and your labels/sigs pic will stay in your own album but will also display as linked images in the Labels album. :)

Murano 101's have their own album or again you can have Murano labels/sigs in your own albums and linked using album keyword murano101.  Good innit?  8)
