Blown Goblet Id
« on: July 15, 2007, 10:00:48 PM »
This goblet is a deep, rich cobalt color with enamel decoration.  It stands about 6" tall, has a polished pontil, and shows fairly extensive bottom wear.  It's all one piece with the base solid glass, giving it extra weight and good balance to avoid tipping.  The collection it came from included some Moser, Rindskopf and other Bohemian glass, so that's my first thought.  Whether or not further attribution or age can be determined is a big question.
Thanks.
Forrest
