--- Quote from: mawfollett on May 27, 2025, 05:28:59 PM ---My fiancée and I recently bought these 5 small crystal glasses. We were unable to find the "H" mark, but we were able to make out most of the name on one of the glasses. The only reference that we could find to Hillston Crystal was on this message board.

Hello and welcome to the board, and thank you for adding your Hillston crystal glasses to Frank's query topic. I'll give him a nudge to let him know you've posted them.

Frank:
This is probably from their 3027 Finest English Cut Crystal Suite. Sizes were 6 1/2" Hock, 5 1/2" Tall Goblet, 5" Tall Champagne, 4 1/4" Claret, 3 3/4" Sherry, 3 7/8" Cocktail, 3 5/8" Port and 3" Liqueur.
From Catalogue #34, dated 1960.

also in #29 1956/7,  #33 1958

Not in #26 1954

So yours would date from 1955 at earliest and continued to be available at least until 1960. There was a similar design range, slightly more complex from the 1930's which yours obviously replaced

mawfollett:
Thank you, hopefully we will come across some more. These ones would be the sherry then, 3 3/4 inches tall.

Do you know where we could see or obtain a copy of the catalogue?

Frank:
Not really quite rare. I have gathered about a dozen years from early 30s over a few decades
