Whitefriars Meadow Green 9610 Knobbly Vase
Pinkspoons:
I did take some photographs of it yesterday, but none of them really showcase the sheer squidginess of the rim. It's very thick glass - it's 1cm shorter than the MG vase, but so much heavier.
I'll snap a few more shots later on and post them. :)
Pinkspoons:
It seems that 'squidge' is a hard quality to capture on camera! I'm not sure I've managed it.

Actually, I suspect this Ruby one is the odd man out - as it's incredibly thickly cased in clear glass, making the walls probably an inch thick in places, and some of the 'knobbles' are clear crystal. You can see the thickness on the top view, especially at bottom-left (it's equally thick all the way around, it was just impossible to angle the shot to show this in one image). It's 500g heavier than the green vase and weighs in at just under 3kg.

Hi Nic, out of all my knobblies, they all have similar flattened "ish" polished rims. They undulate a bit in and out and up and down in some cases, but don't look too dissimilar to yours. Interestingly though, my Meadow green one is perhaps got the "neatest" rim of all and is almost a proper circle compared to the others. Your ruby one looks fine.....just a bit of a heavyweight. emmi
Pinkspoons:
Okay. Thanks for the confrimation, Emmi. :)
