Hello,

Very happy to have stumbled upon this site :clap: :clap: :clap:

I've been trying for years to find any info on this piece. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

same here. Because if you have a vase called Moritz there must be a counterpart called Max.

FWIW items identified with felt pen are most likely trials, samples or tests, not production pieces.

Thanks for the interest. I'm not typically a glass collector (mostly pottery), but I really like this piece. I've spent many hours googleing, etc., only to find lots of info on Moritz pottery & St. Moritz. Lovely place, but no help. The pictures make it look darker than it is. The green lower portion also has a definite red cast to it, and the overshot speckles are more white.

What does "FWIW" mean, please?

Thanks,
Glassyknowl

P.S. "counterpart called Max" :)

FWIW = For what it's worth  ;D ;)

I can't help with your vase though, sorry.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

Hi,
Max und Moritz were also a well-known glass/steel, salt and pepper set from WMF, I believe.
Sorry, not a clue otherwise on this item,
M
