Thanks Max, I like the blue though, that deep blue looks quite an unusual colour for moulded glass of the period. I agree the price seems high, particularly when you factor in the postage costs, though if it turns out to be by a good maker it may be a great bargain. I only paid £10.00 for mine, though it does have a burst bubble to the interior. The seller didn't have any idea of origin and was even describing it as Whitefriars!

I used to have mine on display next to a loop handled vase, attributed to Pierre D'Avesn for Daum's Verrerie D'Art Lorrain plant and there were similarities in colour & finish, Verlys too made vases with texture in imitation of acid cutting and the colour looks like their amber, though I have never seen a design like this with horizontal bands from them & I would expect it to be signed. I still think it's more likely to be Czech. It is a fine piece though and does look wonderful on display.
