Help Please to identify Chalet-style bowl
« on: November 12, 2007, 06:36:40 AM »
Hi, I have this large orange glass bowl.  I can find no mark or it, and am not sure if it is Murano, or it could be Chalet glass....(or something else).  i purchased it for $5 at garage sale.. :-\

Anyone have any ideas on marker/age/value....or any information at all.

Thanking in advance.

I (think) I may have just found the identify of this orange bowl -- Lorraine (Canadian) Glass.  I think it is a *match*.

It certainly looks similar, however how reliable is this particular seller's information?  Are you certain that they've got *their* attribution right?

Thxs..
But even as a Canadian I am having difficulty identifying it.  There was/is (eg):  Chalet glass, and Lorraine Glass, Alta Glass, and Art glass...plus more   :spls:
