This is the lampbase Peter paradisetrader sold to me as Scailmont - it is unmarked but could fit/suit October 2008 ?

How interesting Pamela - your 'Scailmont' vase matches mine exactly (apart from the colour obviously!).  My green vase had the name 'Catteaux' worked into the design on the lower half  of the vase - have another look for it on yours I'm sure it must be there.

David E:
Hadn't escaped me either Pip, having had to move them about for best positioning (surprisingly hard, those three vases!) The designs are subtly different though.

Da mn is not really a swear word, so I am surprised it got censored.

pamela:
Pip, I investigated it again thoroughly today, it is definitely not marked. Is your mark etched or pressed? Photo possible please?
David et all:
I guess I should have photographed it from the same angle as Pip's  :-\ - perhaps we find a matching corner...
Shall download (YES Anne it works perfectly within oneandahalf minute - thank you!) and print your/our beautiful calendar tomorrow and compare again.
 ;D

David E:
The good point about those two vases is that it shows GMB in action - provoking debate about two similar pieces with different attributions (maybe!) :D
