Strange textured slumped glass dish, white enamel base
« on: January 13, 2008, 04:16:52 PM »
Found this rather strange dish today :-\

It has a quilt-like textured pattern on the base and was probably sprayed with white enamel before being wiped clean to leave the raised pattern. Not sure if it is Chance, but if I can identify the texture, that would be a good start. Could be a test piece :o 8)

An early pseudo-intaglio effect?

When I first saw it, I thought it was a Quilt Intaglio in opal-flashed glass - now that would have been rare! >:D
