GREEN GOBLET GLASS W/twisted stem
« on: January 23, 2008, 05:57:03 PM »
Have this single glass that has seen the years, as the gold around edges has wore off.  Twisted stem, see pics. (I don't think I posted before, as I did do a search).

I note stem is similar to post:  Tall heavy Tangerine Crackle glass vase

THANKS

and anything similar here:  http://www.rubylane.com/shops/eyesnglas/item/2182  in stem style

The stem is very like my glasses bought in Murano last time we were there.

I'd suspect a generic Murano origin for this too.

Do not know if this matters or not, but I have had this for about 15 years now myself -- bought from a garage sale when son was a baby....and was already worn then.  Only in china cabinet here, so not sure of age before i got it.  Have any ideas of age?

Thanks

It's a classic style that's been made for a long time. Maybe 50s/60s because of the gilding
