When i first saw this i though "hmmm Chinese", but after picking it up i am not so sure, the cane's lay on a cushion of gold and the base has a lrge polished pontil, any thought's ?

I agree with Leni, Sue - those cog shapes are very Murano, the gold cushion and the flat polished base all say Murano rather loudly - although I am useless at working out which factory unless it has a very large label or signature!
