Surprised , no...interested, yes.
Aalto designed very little glass as far as I know.
I didn't know that Arne Jacobsen designed any glass.
I did know that Wirkkala design a wide range of things. A large section is devoted to him in Cahrlotte & Peter Fiel's book.
Mackintosh is noted for his design everything approach. I thought he was the only British architect of note to do so. Thanks for setting me straight.

Does it note if designs are still in production ?
B/W line drawings may not be as pretty as photos but do you find them better / more accurate for ID ?
I can't help but wonder how and from where they derive their "prices"
(= values ?) What's your opinion Ivo of how realistic they are ?

Some current production items are included - but few classic items are still in the collection; Aalto items e.g. are explained at length, likewise Festivo and Arkipelago and suchlike major lines. Not that I'd be capable of reading it, but still.
The line drawings are quite sufficient, especially as there are measures given as well - see the sample page I provided.
The prices are auction results 1994-2004 so that should be quite realistic.
