who made pink/vaseline/milk glass bowls?
« on: March 10, 2008, 11:22:06 PM »
any ideas on the maker?
I have seen these bowls in a variety of shapes, both decorated and undecorated.
I have also seen the vaseline and milk glass crest (with milk glass on the underside) that had either the pink interior, a light blue, and even an amethyst color.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm no help, but very pretty!

In your second photo, do you know who made the cut-to-clear beaker on the far left?

Kristi:  no help on the cut-to-vaseline beaker.

However, through the art-glass email group, someone came up with a photo (Darlene Severn) that was taken at the Passau Museum.  There is a bowl with the vaseline and milk glass rim that was attributed to Loetz.

here is the pic she provided.

Those are Loetz in that display!?  Never would have guessed that.  Hmmm.

Don't think they're all supposed to be Loetz. Kralik looks nearer the mark with some of them
